Full job descriptionCedar are supporting a Private Sector client, based in London, who are looking to hire a Senior Procurement Manager to focus on supporting a range of Global categories. This is a permanentrole offering a salary up to £75,000 per annum plus Benefits. This role will also operate on a hybrid working basis, with the expectation to be on-site 3 days per week - this role will also include occasional international travel.
The successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of high-value global contracts - c£20-30m multi-year agreements covering categories such as technology, logistics and operations - managing them from tender through to live supplier relationship management. This is a senior, hands-on procurement role reporting into the Procurement Director, with one direct report (Procurement Manager) and real scope to challenge legacy ways of working rather than just administer existing contracts.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
*7+ years experience working in a Procurement role - ideally with an organisation operating at a global level
*experience managing end to end procurement processes across Technology is required - additional wider category experience is advantageous
*strong attention to detail, stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills
*strong negotiation skills - ideally looking for someone who can evidence cost savings or getting best value/innovation for an organisation
