Looking for a Change from the Workshop?
Are you a Vehicle Technician, recently qualified apprentice or experienced dealership professional looking to take your automotive career in a different direction?
We’re looking for 2 Mechanical Vehicle Inspectors to join our growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your mechanical knowledge and vehicle inspection experience without being stuck on the tools all day.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for carrying out professional Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs) and assessing vehicles to identify any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements.
Your duties will include:
*Carrying out detailed mechanical vehicle inspections.
*Completing accurate Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs).
*Identifying faults, defects, wear and tear.
*Assessing vehicle condition and maintenance requirements.
*Producing clear and accurate inspection reports.
*Communicating findings to workshop and service teams.
*Working to company and manufacturer standards.
*Following all health & safety procedures.
? Who We’re Looking For
This role could be ideal for:
*A recently qualified automotive apprentice looking to develop their career.
*A Vehicle Technician looking for a less physically demanding role.
*An experienced dealership technician with VHC experience.
*Someone with a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification.
*An MOT Class 4 Tester – desirable but not essential.
You’ll need:
*Good mechanical knowledge.
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Strong communication skills.
*The ability to accurately record and report findings.
*A full UK driving licence.
