About the Role

We are recruiting for an Export Sales & Logistics Coordinator to join our client’s busy and supportive team based in Basildon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administration, customer service, logistics coordination, and working within a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, supporting field-based Account Managers, and ensuring customers receive a first-class service from order placement through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
*Preparing export shipping documentation and ensuring compliance with customer requirements
*Processing customer orders and coordinating dispatch activities
*Managing and processing sample requests
*Handling customer enquiries via telephone and email
*Providing sales and administrative support to Account Managers
*Maintaining and monitoring back orders
*Setting up new customer accounts and delivery information
*Creating orders from spreadsheets, emails, and customer requests
*Liaising with internal departments regarding orders, deliveries, and bookings
*Arranging direct container bookings and coordinating deliveries
*Supporting the Team Leader and wider Sales Office team
*Processing driver paperwork as part of the logistics function
*Keeping customers informed and updated on shipment progress
*Building strong relationships with customers to ensure excellent service levels
Essential Skills & Experience
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Strong customer service and administration experience
*Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Confident using email and office-based systems
*Team player with a positive and flexible attitude
