Full job descriptionPinpoint Resourcing are currently working with a construction business who are seeking an Accountant to join their team.
Duties:
*Producing monthly management reporting across multiple entities
*Reviewing P&L, balance sheet and cashflow performance
*Analysing variances and investigating key movements
*Completing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
*Supporting audit processes and external stakeholder relationships
*Working closely with senior managers and finance teams across the business
*Providing financial support and commercial insight to Senior project leads
*Reviewing project performance, costs and provisions
*Managing VAT compliance and overseas payroll processes
*Preparing weekly cashflow forecasts and supporting FX activity
*Leading annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
*Supporting wider finance projects and ad hoc analysis as required
Requirements:
*Advanced Excel skills
*Able to adapt to a new ERP system
*Able to present information concisely and clearly, also to differing audiences with varying levels of Finance understanding.
*Part-qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
*Able to juggle multiple deadlines and prioritise tasks.
*Prior experience preparing and reviewing management accounts.
*Prior experience in the construction industry
Salary:
*£50,000 - £55,000
