Job Description:
Full job descriptionMarket 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator on behalf of our client based in Braintree on a Temp to Perm basis.
Roles & Responsibilities
*Operate CNC machinery to manufacture components to specification.
*Set up, load and operate CNC machines for production runs.
*Read and interpret engineering drawings and production instructions.
*Measure and inspect finished components using a range of measuring equipment.
*Make basic machine adjustments to ensure product quality and accuracy.
*Carry out routine machine maintenance and report any faults or issues.
*Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.
*Maintain accurate production records where required.
*Keep the work area clean, organised and compliant with Health & Safety regulations.
*Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure production deadlines are met.
Additional Responsibilities
*Assist with other manufacturing or workshop duties when required.
*Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
*Follow company procedures and safe working practices at all times.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
*Previous experience operating CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment.
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
*Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers or gauges.
*Good understanding of machining processes and quality standards.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
*Ability to identify and report production or machine issues.
*Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
*Good understanding of Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment.
Working Pattern & Benefits
Hours:
*Days: Monday – Thursday, 13:30 - Midnight
Salary: Up to £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)
