The Role

As Travel Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading, motivating and coaching a high-performing Travel Sales Team in Glasgow.
You’ll lead by example, support your Travel Sales Consultants and create a positive, energetic and results-driven environment where the team can succeed.
This is a hands-on Team Leader role for someone who enjoys working within Travel, developing people and achieving ambitious sales targets.


Key Responsibilities*Lead, motivate and develop a team of Travel Sales Consultants.
*Act as an inspirational Travel Team Leader, leading by example.
*Drive individual and team Travel Sales performance against agreed targets.
*Coach and develop your Travel Sales Team through regular one-to-ones, feedback and performance reviews.
*Monitor sales KPIs and identify opportunities to improve Travel Sales performance.
*Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the Travel customer journey.
*Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new Travel Sales Consultants.
*Handle escalated customer enquiries professionally and effectively.
*Work closely with senior management to deliver Travel Sales initiatives and business objectives.
*Create a positive, collaborative and customer-focused Travel Team culture.
*Motivate your team to achieve and exceed Travel Sales targets.
What We’re Looking For*Previous experience as a Team Leader, Sales Team Leader, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or Supervisor.
*Travel Industry experience is essential.
*Previous experience leading a Travel Sales Team or sales team.
*Proven track record of achieving and exceeding Travel Sales targets.
*Strong coaching, leadership and people-development skills.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
*A positive, enthusiastic and results-driven approach.
*Passion for Travel, sales and delivering outstanding customer service.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced Travel Sales environment.
*Strong organisational, leadership and problem-solving skills.
