*Manage and monitor budgets for research and grant-funded projects.
*Prepare financial reports and analyses for stakeholders.
*Ensure compliance with funding guidelines and financial regulations.
*Collaborate with project teams to provide financial insights and support.
*Assist in the preparation of grant applications and funding proposals.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
*Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
*Support audits and financial reviews as required.
Profile
A successful Finance Analyst - Research and Grants should have:
*Experience in accounting or finance, preferably within research or grants management.
*Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
*Knowledge of financial regulations and funding compliance.
*Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools.
*Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
*Studying towards qualification.
