Full job descriptionCrowe Watson Recruitment has an exciting new opportunity for a Business Services Assistant Manager to join a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Stockport, offering flexible working, a strong company pension, and much more. The successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of clients, providing support and guidance to junior team members whilst maintaining strong technical standards across accounts preparation and business advisory work.

What is the day-to-day of the role:
*Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of sectors
*Review accounts and management information prepared by junior staff
*Provide mentoring and technical support to less experienced team members
*Liaise directly with clients to build and maintain strong working relationships
*Support partners with business development and client onboarding
Required Skills and Qualifications:
*ACA or ACCA qualified, or QBE with relevant experience
*Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
*Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and current accounting standards
*Proven experience managing and reviewing the work of junior staff
*Excellent communication and client relationship skills
