A well-regarded 2-form entry primary school in Ealing Broadway is seeking a Year 1 Teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team from January 2027 until July 2027, with the possibility of the role extending beyond the initial contract.

The successful candidate will:
*Teach a Year 1 class from January 2027
*Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
*Deliver high-quality phonics teaching and early reading provision
*Support pupils’ progress across reading, writing, mathematics, and the wider curriculum
*Use assessment effectively to identify next steps in learning
*Work collaboratively with the parallel Year 1 teacher and wider KS1 team
*Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Requirements
The school is looking for a teacher who:
*Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Has experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1
*Has a secure understanding of phonics and the KS1 curriculum
*Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement
*Has strong classroom management and organisational skills
*Works effectively as part of a team
