Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Chelmsford - September Start
Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Chelmsford, starting September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in their career and make a positive impact on pupils’ learning and development.
The successful candidate will be confident leading small groups and whole-class sessions when required, supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons, and helping pupils achieve their full potential.
CONTRACT DETAILS
*Location - Chelmsford
*Position - Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
*Type of work - Classroom support and intervention delivery
*Start date - September
*Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
*Full time/part-time - Full time
*Rate of pay - £100 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
*Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm
*Working days - Monday to Friday
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
*Previous experience working within a UK school setting
*HLTA qualification or equivalent experience desirable
*Experience leading small group interventions and supporting whole-class learning
*Strong behaviour management skills
*Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
*Provide two professional child-related references
