Swindon (hybrid) - with some travel to other sites for occasional meetings
Reed is delighted to be supporting a large and complex public sector organisation in the appointment of an experienced HR Director on a 3-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic HR leader to join a senior leadership team during a period of organisational transformation and change. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the people agenda, partnering with senior stakeholders and leading a high-performing HR function.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide strategic leadership across the HR and people agenda
*Act as a trusted advisor to executive and senior leaders
*Lead workforce transformation and organisational change initiatives
*Drive employee engagement, inclusion and culture programmes
*Oversee employee relations, workforce planning and people operations
*Develop and coach senior HR leaders and business partnering teams
*Ensure delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused HR service
About You
The successful candidate will be a credible and influential HR professional with a strong track record of operating at senior leadership level within a complex organisation.
You will bring:
*Significant senior HR leadership experience
*Experience shaping and delivering people strategies
*Strong organisational development and change management expertise
*Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
*Experience leading multidisciplinary HR teams
*The ability to operate strategically whilst maintaining operational oversight
Experience within the public sector, healthcare or another highly regulated environment would be advantageous.
