The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Paraplanner who wants to be closely involved with clients and have collaboration with advisers?
Would you love working 1:1 with the adviser and attending client meetings, gaining valuable opportunities to build rapport with clients.
Would you enjoy then collaborating with the adviser after the meetings to put together the financial plans?
If so…We’re working with a highly established boutique financial planning practice looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to become a key part of their small, highly collaborative team.
About the Company
This is a boutique practice consisting of an experienced Adviser, Practice Manager/Administrator and established Report Writer. Meaning that the administration and report writing functions are well established, leaving the paraplanner and adviser to work closely and focus on the clients and financial plans.
The Adviser looks after around 80 high-net-worth households, allowing the team to provide a highly personal service and build strong, long-term client relationships.
The Role
You’ll work alongside the Adviser throughout the financial planning process, becoming closely involved in both the technical and client-facing elements of the role.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Attending client meetings alongside the Adviser, both virtually and face-to-face.
*Building relationships with high-net-worth clients and becoming a trusted part of their financial planning journey.
*Working collaboratively with the Adviser to develop holistic financial plans.
*Conducting detailed technical research and analysis.
*Preparing cash flow models and supporting financial planning discussions.
*Working closely with the existing Report Writer and Practice Manager/Administrator to ensure a seamless client journey.
Client meetings are a mixture of face-to-face appointments across London and the surrounding counties, Teams meetings and appointments at the firm’s modern offices.
This is an opportunity to move beyond purely technical paraplanning and become genuinely involved in how advice is developed and delivered to clients.

*Diploma qualified or an experienced Paraplanner with strong technical knowledge.
*Experience within an IFA, wealth management or financial planning environment.
*Strong knowledge across a broad range of financial planning areas.
*Excellent report writing, research and analytical skills.
*Confident communication skills and an interest in client-facing work.
*Someone who enjoys working closely with an Adviser and contributing to the development of financial plans.
*A proactive approach and genuine desire to continue developing professionally.
