An established and highly regarded London Market insurance broker is looking to hire an experienced Senior Marine Technician / Account Handler to join its growing Marine team.
The business has a strong reputation within the London Market and works across a broad range of Marine business, servicing a diverse portfolio of international clients and risks.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Marine professional looking to join a respected brokerage where they will have the opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio, work closely with Brokers and Underwriters, and play a key role in the continued development of the Marine team.The Role
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive technical and account-handling support across a portfolio of Marine business, working closely with Brokers, clients, insurers and internal stakeholders.
The role will suit someone with strong London Market Marine experience who is confident managing the full lifecycle of policies and has excellent attention to detail.
You will be expected to take ownership of your accounts, ensure documentation is processed accurately and efficiently, and provide a high level of service to both internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities*Manage the day-to-day administration and technical servicing of a portfolio of Marine insurance accounts.
*Provide full account-handling support to Brokers across new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments.
*Prepare, review and process MRC slips, endorsements, cover notes and policy documentation.
*Liaise with Lloyd’s and company market Underwriters to obtain information, quotations and agreed amendments.
*Handle additional and return premiums, cancellations and other policy adjustments.
*Ensure accurate and timely processing of premiums, invoices and relevant documentation.
*Monitor outstanding documentation and ensure contractual and regulatory requirements are met.
*Liaise with clients, producing brokers, Underwriters, IBA, Claims and other internal teams to resolve queries.
*Support Brokers with renewals, new business placements and ongoing account management.
*Assist with the preparation of renewal documentation and client presentations where required.
*Maintain accurate records and ensure all systems are kept fully up to date.
*Support the team with technical queries and act as a point of reference for more junior members of the team.
*Ensure all work is completed in accordance with FCA, Lloyd’s and company procedures.
Marine Experience
Experience across one or more of the following areas would be advantageous:*Marine Hull

*Yacht
*Energy / Offshore Marine

*Marine Reinsurance
