We are seeking an experienced Commercial Logistics Manager to join a leading supply chain and logistics organisation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused professional with a deep understanding of logistics services, including international freight, transport, warehousing, and customs solutions. The ideal candidate will drive business growth, develop long-term client relationships, and deliver profitable growth within a dynamic supply chain environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Develop and implement commercial growth strategies to win new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships across multiple logistics service offerings.
*Manage pricing strategies and commercial negotiations to ensure strong commercial performance and profitability.
*Collaborate with operational teams to ensure customers receive tailored, high-quality service.
*Travel across the UK to meet customers and prospects, strengthening relationships and identifying new opportunities.
*Drive revenue growth and margin performance by identifying and securing new business opportunities across logistics and supply chain services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in a Commercial Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or similar commercial role within the logistics sector.
*Demonstrated success in delivering revenue growth in logistics, freight forwarding, transport, supply chain, customs, or warehousing environments.
*Strong understanding of supply chain services and customer solutions.
*Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
*High commercial awareness with a focus on profitability.
*Proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
