This is not an entry-level customer service opportunity. Applicants must have previous office-based customer support experience, managing customer enquiries across telephone, email and written communication channels.
The RoleAs a Customer Support Specialist, you will manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to resolution, providing a professional and efficient service across multiple communication channels.
Working within a structured service environment, you will take ownership of customer cases, maintain accurate records and collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities*Manage customer enquiries via telephone, email and written correspondence
*Take ownership of customer cases from initial contact through to resolution
*Deliver a high standard of customer service across multiple communication channels
*Build positive and professional customer relationships
*Maintain accurate customer records using internal systems
*Ensure all enquiries are handled within agreed service standards
*Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer queries efficiently
*Support complaint resolution and problem-solving activities
*Maintain strong attention to detail across all customer interactions
*Contribute to service improvement initiatives
Essential Experience*Minimum 12 months experience within an office based customer service, customer support or client services role
*Experience handling customer enquiries by telephone and email
*Experience managing customer cases or ongoing customer enquiries
*Experience using CRM, customer management or case management systems
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Strong administrative and organisational skills
*Experience working within a professional office environment
Desirable Experience*Experience working against service level agreements
*Experience within financial services, professional services, insurance, property, legal or regulated sectors
*Complaint handling experience
*Customer retention or customer relationship management experience
