Working closely with Partners and senior management, the successful Audit Manager will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, managing audit engagements from planning through to completion. What is the day-to-day of the role:
*Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors, from planning to completion
*Supervise and mentor junior members of the audit team, reviewing their work and supporting development
*Liaise directly with clients and Partners, building strong long-term relationships
*Ensure audits are completed to a high standard, in line with current auditing standards and regulations
*Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the wider growth of the audit department
Required Skills and Qualifications:
*ACA or ACCA qualified, with proven audit experience gained within practice
*Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
*Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS
*Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
*Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop junior team members
