Overview A leading Asset Management firm is seeking a talented Full-Stack C# Developer to join its growing technology team in London.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise solutions that underpin investment decision-making, portfolio management, trading, and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities *Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack applications using C# and .NET technologies.
*Build responsive and intuitive web-based user interfaces for front-office and business users.
*Develop and integrate APIs, services, and data feeds across multiple platforms.
*Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, analysts, and operations teams to understand business requirements.
*Contribute to the architecture and technical design of new systems and enhancements.
*Optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability.
*Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices.
*Support CI/CD processes and contribute to cloud and DevOps initiatives.
*Troubleshoot production issues and deliver timely resolutions.
*Maintain high standards of software quality, security, and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience *Strong commercial experience developing applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
*Experience building modern web applications using technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
*Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and service-oriented architectures.
*Strong knowledge of SQL Server and relational database design.
*Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
*Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
Desirable Experience *Previous experience within Asset Management, Investment Management, Hedge Funds, or Financial Services.
*Knowledge of portfolio management, trading, market data, risk, performance, or investment operations workflows.
*Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
*Exposure to containerisation technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
*Experience with messaging technologies and event-driven architectures.
*Understanding of DevOps tooling and automated deployment pipelines
