Full job description**Experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools**

**Are you an experienced Level 2 TA looking for your next school opportunity?**

Aspire People are currently recruiting **experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistants** to support primary schools across Manchester.

We’re looking for practitioners who already understand the day-to-day demands of working in a school and can confidently support pupils within the classroom.

If you’ve recently become available, are looking for a change of school, or are simply exploring what’s available now the academic year has started, we’d be happy to speak with you.

**The Role May Include:**

* Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
* Assisting with Reading, Writing and Maths
* Supporting differentiated classroom activities
* Assisting with basic interventions
* Supporting pupils with SEND
* Helping maintain positive classroom routines
* Supporting behaviour and pupil engagement
* Supervising pupils during breaktimes and transitions
* Encouraging confidence and independence
* Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team

**We’re Looking For:**

* **Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent**
* Recent experience within a UK primary school
* Good understanding of the primary curriculum
* Experience supporting classroom learning
* Confident working with primary-aged children
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Patient, adaptable and nurturing approach
* Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion

Candidates with experience supporting **SEND, SEMH or pupils with additional learning needs** would be particularly attractive to many of our schools.
