If you’re an experienced Buyer with a commercial mindset and a passion for developing product ranges, this could be the perfect role.
Talent Guardian is partnering with a well-established consumer goods business to recruit a Buyer on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll take ownership of established branded product ranges, work closely with suppliers across the UK and Europe, and play a key role in bringing new products to market.
What you’ll be doing: *Managing branded product ranges from selection through to launch.
*Sourcing new suppliers and negotiating commercial agreements.
*Analysing market trends, competitor activity and forecasting demand.
*Monitoring product performance, sales and stock levels.
*Building strong supplier relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
*Supporting product launches, sales teams and stakeholder presentations.
*Attending UK and European trade shows and supplier meetings.
What we’re looking for: *Previous Buying or Procurement experience.
*Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
*Commercial awareness with excellent analytical ability.
*Experience managing product ranges and forecasting.
*Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
*Confident communicator who enjoys working with suppliers and stakeholders.
*Advanced Excel skills would be an advantage.
