Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Wellingborough
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide high-quality classroom support, assist with interventions, and help create a positive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
Responsibilities:
*Supporting pupils in the classroom across a range of subjects and year groups.
*Delivering small group interventions to support learning and progress.
*Providing one-to-one support for pupils when required.
*Assisting with classroom preparation and resource organisation.
*Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and helping them access the curriculum.
*Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting pupil engagement.
*Working collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience in an educational setting.
*Experience supporting children or young people within a school environment.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
*An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
