Continental Day Shift (33%)
4 days on 4 off: 6am to 6pm
£27,481 to £37,823 plus 33% shift premium (£36,549.73 to £50,304)
The Company
Our client, Yamazaki Mazak, is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading Machine Tool manufacturer that has been at the forefront of the industry for many years.
Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak and are seeking a CNC 5 Axis Milling Setter/Operator to join the Machining Department.
Job Description
*Setting and operating large Versatech 5 Axis machining centres.
*Producing a wide and varied range of highly toleranced parts used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines.
*Understanding CNC controls and being able to program, edit and improve existing and new parts.
*Working as part of a team of fellow engineers while adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
*Contributing to a positive workplace culture by engaging in H&S improvements and Kaizen initiatives.
Essential Criteria
*Solid understanding and experience of operating CNC-controlled machining centres.
*Demonstrable experience of safely using CNC controls.
*A positive, can-do attitude.
*Previous experience working as part of a team within a busy manufacturing environment.
Desirable Criteria
*Experience programming from engineering drawings using Mazatrol CNC controls.
*Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship, HNC or equivalent qualification.
Shift Pattern: The role will operate on a continental shift pattern following a period of training on double-day shifts.

*Overtime is paid at Time 1/3 first 2 hours then Time 1/2 thereafter each day. Saturday is Time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time.
