The Role
As an HR Assistant, you will support the HR function across a range of activities, helping to ensure employees receive an excellent experience throughout their journey with the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
*Supporting recruitment and onboarding activities
*Maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases
*Assisting with absence management and annual leave administration
*Preparing HR documentation, including contracts and letters
*Supporting employee relations and wellbeing initiatives
*Responding to employee queries and providing general HR support
*Producing reports and maintaining confidentiality at all times
*Assisting with HR projects and ensuring compliance with employment legislation
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
*Previous experience in an HR Administration or HR Assistant position
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
*Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
*A professional and confidential approach
*A genuine interest in working within the charity sector
Desirable:
CIPD Level 2 qualification (or currently working towards it)
