Duties of the Service Advisor:
*Greeting customers and understanding their vehicle service requirements
*Providing accurate, clear advice on service work and costs
*Preparing and managing job cards and service schedules
*Ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships
*Upselling additional services and products where appropriate
*Communicating effectively with workshop staff to facilitate timely repairs
*Maintaining accurate documentation and service records
*Supporting the workshop team to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements of the Service Advisor:
*Proven experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade
*Excellent communication and customer service skills
*Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks
*Knowledge of automotive systems and service processes
*Strong organisational skills and professional approach
*Full UK driving licence
*Previous experience in a dealership or automotive environment is preferred but not essential
