An exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and growing business based near Bexhill, as Finance Manager.
You’ll be joining a small, high-performing finance team and working closely with the Group CFO to oversee the day-to-day finance function. This is a hands-on role, ideal for a fully qualified accountant who enjoys working across a broad remit and wants to play a key part in supporting a growing business.
The Role:
*Managing and supporting a small finance team
*Overseeing the day-to-day transactional finance function
*Preparing and submitting VAT returns
*Producing monthly management accounts across multiple entities
*Supporting the Group CFO with budgeting and forecasting
*Providing financial insight and support to the wider business
*Helping to improve and develop finance processes as the business continues to grow
About You
We’re looking for a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) who is commercially minded, hands-on and keen to make an impact within a growing business.
You’ll ideally have:
*Previous experience managing or leading a small finance team
*Strong technical accounting and management accounts experience
*Confidence working across a broad finance remit
*Excellent communication and business partnering skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
*A proactive and ambitious approach, with the appetite to grow alongside the business
*The ability to work comfortably in a hands-on environment where no two days are necessarily the same
*A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
