Support work isn’t just making cups of tea and personal care. It is about enhancing the lives for people living with emotional, physical and sometimes complex disabilities. We are seeking a committed and compassionate carer to join a care team supporting a male adult in his 50s who lives at home in Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone’s life by providing both high-quality clinical care and holistic support for overall health and wellbeing. His interests include cars, motorbikes and spending time out in the community and is looking for carers with similar interests.
The individual has complex care needs, including:
*Spinal injury
*Bowl care
*Suprapubic catheter
As a carer, you will support him not only with these medical needs but also with daily living activities, promoting independence and empowering him to live life to the fullest.
Key Details:
*Rota: Fixed rota (which includes alternate weekend working)
*Location: Colney, Norwich
*Contract: Both FT & PT positions available
All positions can be given as a contracted fixed rota position or on a casual basis if preferred.
*There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be male in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010.
*Please note we are unable to offer sponsorship for this position.
