Job Description:
Full job descriptionThe RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment. You will play an important role in helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
*Assisting with learning activities and classroom tasks
*Supporting pupils with their individual learning and development plans
*Helping children develop confidence, independence and social skills
*Providing emotional and behavioural support where required
*Working closely with teachers and other professionals
*Supporting pupils with personal care where necessary
*Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
