Full job descriptionWe are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a reputable and busy workshop near Bishop Stortford. Our client is a well-established company committed to quality and safety in the commercial vehicle sector. The HGV Technician role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career with a disciplined team environment.

*Competitive salary of approximately £46,000, depending on experience
*Monday to Friday working hours, with every other Saturday morning included in the salary

Duties of a HGV Technician:
*Carry out servicing and inspections on commercial vehicles, including lorries and rigids
*Perform repairs to ensure vehicles meet industry standards
*Maintain accurate records of all work carried out
*Work efficiently within a busy workshop environment
*Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of vehicle safety and maintenance
Requirements of a HGV Technician:
*Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role within commercial vehicle maintenance
*Own set of tools suitable for daily tasks
*Valid UK driving licence
*Practical experience in servicing and repairing large commercial vehicles
*Formal qualifications are not essential if practical skills are demonstrated
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
