Reporting into a Finance Manager, you will take ownership of a range of management accounting responsibilities, including:
Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
Analysis of financial performance against budget and forecast
Preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial projections
Detailed variance and KPI analysis
Balance sheet reconciliations and control account reviews
Cashflow forecasting
Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes
Business partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders
Providing financial insight and challenge to support business decisions
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and financial performance
Supporting wider finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives
They are looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant who enjoys working with the numbers but, importantly, can also translate financial information into meaningful insight for the wider business.
You will ideally be:
Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA
Experienced in a management accounting environment
Confident producing and analysing management accounts
Strong technically, with good Excel skills
Comfortable working with large volumes of financial data
Commercially aware with strong business partnering skills
Analytical, organised and proactive
Keen to develop your career within a large and successful organisation
