Full job descriptionPremier Work Support are currently recruiting for a permanent Warehouse Assistant Manager for our prestigious client based in Dartford.
Job Role:
*To support the Warehouse Manager in the safe, efficient and compliant running of the warehouse across ambient, chilled and frozen environments.
*To lead warehouse operatives during assigned shifts, overseeing picking, packing, loading, dispatch and Goods-in activities, ensuring all stock is handled, stored and rotated correctly.
*Working in parallel with the stock controller. Providing operational continuity across shifts and supporting stock related tasks when required in a small team environment.
*To maintain food safety, hygiene and audit compliance.
*The designated point of responsibility in the Warehouse managers absence, responding to emergencies, and ensuring full operational continuity.

*Picking, Packing and Stock Handling
*Warehouse Cleaning and Hygiene
*Van Fleet Management
*Team Support and Training
*Health & Safety Compliance
*Support to Stock Controller
*Driving & Operational support
Experience & Qualifications
*Full UK Driving Licence as driving is required
*Experience in warehouse Operations, FMCG or food distribution
*Understanding of chilled/frozen handling standards
*Experience supervising or leading small teams
*Basic understanding of manual handling and warehouse safety procedures.
The role requires flexibility across early, late and weekend shifts as operationally required. At 40 hours per week.
