About the organisationThe organisation is a well-established housing association based in London, providing homes and strong customer services to their local community. They are looking for a hands-on candidate to join the service charge team and support activity during a busy period.
The RoleAn initial 3-month interim role focused on completing the 2025/26 service charge actuals and reconciliations, with the potential to extend for the right person and support the 2026/27 cycle.
Key responsibilities*Complete 2025/26 service charge reconciliations accurately and efficiently
*Work with accruals, prepayments and service charge data
*Investigate queries and follow up with relevant teams to get the information needed
*Help embed good processes and best practice across service charge accounting
*Build strong relationships with colleagues and confidently get things moving
About you*Some experience of service charge accounting and reconciliations within housing
*Confident working with accruals, prepayments and financial data
*Strong Excel skills, with the ability to understand and summarise data
*Hands on person with initiative who doesn’t need constant direction
*Accurate, organised and confident dealing with a range of stakeholders
