A company within the industrial and manufacturing sector. Looking got a candidate to support the Financial Controller.
Description
*Assist with month-end close procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
*Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss analysis and investigation of variances.
*Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate supporting schedules.
*Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
*Assist with year-end accounts preparation, audit processes, and statutory reporting requirements.
*Oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
*Support standard cost management and transfer pricing processes.
*Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required by the Finance team.
*Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, controls, and best practices.
*Perform and review intercompany reconciliations.
*Provide timely financial information, reports, and analysis to support the Finance Manager and wider business decision-making.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*CIMA / ACCA Studier / QBE
*Strong technical knowledge of double-entry accounting, reconciliations, and VAT.
*Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP or accounting systems
*Proactive, collaborative, and committed to process improvement and continuous development.


Job Offer
*Salary between £45,000 and £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
*25 days of annual leave.
*Permanent position in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
*Office Based
