DATA ENGINEER
£45,000
LIVERPOOL
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing data function within a purpose-driven organisation where you can take ownership of building and developing key data assets. You’ll work with modern cloud technologies including Azure, Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric, whilst helping to shape the future of the company’s data platform.
THE COMPANY
Our client is a well-established organisation undergoing continued investment in data and analytics. With a growing BI function and a collaborative culture, this role offers the opportunity to work across a modern tech stack whilst developing your skills alongside an experienced team.
THE ROLE
*Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
*Develop and support data warehousing solutions within Snowflake
*Design and optimise dimensional data models for reporting and analytics
*Support the migration and development of solutions within Microsoft Fabric
*Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data assets
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
*Previous experience in a Data Engineering role
*Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
*Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
*Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling
*Strong SQL skills and experience working in cloud-based data environments
*Experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric or Databricks would be advantageous
SALARY AND BENEFITS
*Up to £45,000 base salary
*Hybrid working model (1 day per week in the office)
