Graduate English Tutor - The Role
*Supporting English Language & Literature across KS3-4
*Working with pupils individually and within small groups
*Delivering academic intervention and booster sessions
*Supporting pupils approaching their GCSE examinations
*Developing pupils’ written communication, analysis and essay-writing skills
*Stretching high-achieving pupils
*Working alongside experienced English Teachers
*Supporting pupil progress and attainment across the department
ROLE DETAILS
*Graduate English Tutor
*£110 - £120 per day
*September 2026 start
*Full Time
*Long-Term position throughout the academic year
*Term Time Only
*Based in Southend-On-Sea
THE IDEAL ENGLISH TUTOR
*English Degree - 1st Class or 2:1 strongly preferred
*Strong A Level and GCSE grades
*Excellent literacy and communication skills
*Confident, engaging and academically driven
*Genuine interest in education
*Aspiring Teacher / Teacher Training applicants welcomed
*Able to motivate pupils across different academic abilities
