Hays Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Huddersfield to recruit a talented Teacher of Art for a long-term position starting 7th September 2026.
Whether you are an experienced Art Teacher or an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to begin your teaching journey, we would love to hear from you.The Role
You will be joining a supportive and forward-thinking department, delivering engaging and creative Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will have the ability to motivate students of all abilities and create an inclusive classroom environment where creativity can flourish.
Responsibilities
*Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
*Inspire creativity, confidence and artistic expression.
*Assess, monitor and support student progress.
*Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
*Contribute to the wider life of the department and school.
What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK Specialism in Art & Design Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Art within the last 3 years Strong classroom management and communication skills Passion for raising achievement and engaging learners ECTs are encouraged to apply
