Full job descriptionWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established accident repair centre in Rochdale for the position of Vehicle Paint Sprayer. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join a modern, high-quality facility that values craftsmanship, staff development, and employee well-being.

The successful Vehicle Paint Sprayer will benefit from a highly competitive package, including a pay rate of £21–£23 per hour with potential earnings up to £59,800 annually. There are opportunities for salary increases following a successful probation period. Duties of the Vehicle Paint Sprayer include:
*Preparing, priming, masking, and painting vehicles to a high standard
*Accurately colour matching panels to the original finish
*Applying paint correctly to achieve professional results
*Inspecting completed work and polishing where required
*Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
*Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
*Following PPE and RPE procedures
*Collaborating closely with colleagues within a busy repair team
*Ensuring all work adheres to quality and insurance standards
The ideal Vehicle Paint Sprayer will possess:
*At least 3 years’ experience in vehicle painting, preferably within an accident repair environment
*Strong knowledge of vehicle preparation, paint processes, and finishing techniques
*Excellent attention to detail and pride in high-quality work
*Ability to carry out full painting and finishing processes
*Strong time management skills to meet deadlines
*Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop
*A positive attitude and excellent team-working skills
*Relevant qualifications are advantageous
