Full job descriptionTitle: Family Office Accountant
Location: West London (hybrid)
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 + bonus & benefits
Language Requirement: Fluent Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Bengali or Telugu Speaker
We are working with a multinational investment group to appoint a Family Office Accountant for its West London-based Family Office division. The group manages a diversified international portfolio spanning private equity, real estate, operating businesses, and strategic investments across multiple jurisdictions.
The Family Office Accountant will support the CFO and senior leadership team across financial reporting, management accounts, cash flow, tax coordination, and investment reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, budgets, and forecasts across Family Office entities
*Support consolidated reporting across multiple jurisdictions and investment structures
*Manage day-to-day cash flow, payments, treasury reporting, and bank reconciliations
*Assist with UK and international tax compliance, working closely with external tax advisers and auditors
*Support accounting for investment vehicles, holding companies, partnerships, and operating businesses
*Prepare portfolio and investment performance reporting across real estate, mining, manufacturing, and other assets
*Assist with financial analysis relating to acquisitions, disposals, and new investments
*Maintain accurate accounting records, controls, and supporting documentation
*Liaise with banks, auditors, tax advisers, legal advisers, and other external stakeholders
*Support improvements to finance systems, reporting processes, and internal controls
Experience and Skills:
*Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
*Experience within a family office, investment group, private equity environment, or international business
*Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
*Exposure to multi-entity or multi-jurisdictional structures would be advantageous
*Understanding of UK tax, VAT, and statutory reporting requirements
*Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting or ERP systems
*Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
*Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders and principals
