Full job descriptionWe are seeking a qualified MOT Technician to join a well-established dealership in Christchurch, Dorset. This Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work within a reputable team, providing ongoing development and a structured environment for career progression. The successful individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and MOT testing, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with industry standards.

*Competitive salary of approximately £35,000, with earnings potential up to £45,000 including bonuses
*Monday to Friday working week, 42 hours

Duties of a MOT Technician:
*Conducting MOT tests in accordance with current legislation and manufacturer standards
*Diagnosing vehicle faults and performing repairs to the highest standard
*Servicing vehicles efficiently to meet dealership and manufacturer requirements
*Maintaining accurate and detailed service records
*Assisting with workshop operations and ensuring standards are upheld
*Communicating effectively with customers regarding repairs and vehicle condition
*Ensuring all work is completed within set timeframes
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
*Relevant qualifications, including MOT Tester certification
*Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician and/or MOT Tester
*Strong diagnostic skills and technical expertise
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
*Valid driving licence
