We are currently working with a well-established and highly respected professional services business in West Yorkshire who are looking to appoint a Trainee Legal Cashier to join their growing Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some previous finance, accounts or transactional experience who is looking to develop their career within a specialist environment. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone keen to learn and progress.
The RoleWorking closely with the wider Finance team, you will support with:
*Processing payments, receipts and financial transactions
*Assisting with client and office account reconciliations
*Processing and allocating incoming funds
*Supporting with bank reconciliations
*Maintaining accurate financial records
*Assisting with client account administration
*Dealing with internal queries and providing financial support to colleagues
*Supporting with general finance and month-end duties
About YouWe’re looking for someone who is numerate, organised and detail-focused, with a genuine interest in developing a career within finance.
You may already have experience within a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger or similar role, or be looking for your first opportunity to develop within a specialist finance environment.
You will ideally have:
*Previous finance/accounts experience
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Good Excel and IT skills
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
*A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
*The ability to handle confidential financial information
