About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and compassionate Activities Co-ordinator to join our clients home team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, and delivering engaging activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
*Plan and coordinate a varied programme of activities and events.
*Encourage resident participation and engagement.
*Organise both group and one-to-one activities tailored to residents’ interests, abilities, and needs.
*Arrange outings, entertainment, and special events.
*Work closely with care staff, residents, and families to ensure activities are meaningful and person-centred.
*Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation.
*Ensure all activities are delivered safely and in accordance with care home policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*A caring, patient, and positive attitude.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
*Strong organisational and planning skills.
Desirable
*Relevant qualification in Health & Social Care, Recreation, Activity Provision, or a related field.
*Experience in organising community events, entertainment, and wellbeing activities.
