Full job descriptionBerry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced TemporaryKitchen Porter to cover holiday for a Medical Laboratory in Witney, Oxfordshire.
Role: Temporary Kitchen Porter (Holiday Cover)
Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday (08:00 - 16:00)
Key Responsibilities of the Kitchen Porter:
*Preparing and traying up bulk food items
*Carrying out basic vegetable preparation
*Helping with general food preparation as required
*Checking and storing food deliveries correctly
*Following food hygiene, HACCP and health & safety procedures
*Keeping the kitchen, equipment and service areas clean and tidy
*Checking and recording food temperatures
About you:
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organised
*Good communication skills to report safety issues and work as a team
*A positive attitude and willingness to take on different tasks as needed
*Understanding of proper uniform and hygiene standards in a food service setting
