Full job descriptionWe are recruiting for a Senior Claims Broker - Casualty on behalf of a well respected specialist insurance and reinsurance broker.


The successful candidate will deal with all aspects of casualty claims, processing from first advice through to settlement. The role requires a proven claims professional with prior experience of handling Energy and US Casualty claims.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing own accounts and liaising with brokers, account handlers and clients on a regular basis.
*Creating and maintaining claims files.
*Inputting document details on to the in-house system.
*Assessing and processing claims and premiums.
*Producing and sending advice and collection documentation, including broking to the London Market where required.
*Obtaining agreement to advices and collections via CLASS/ECF system.
*Liaising with the Insurance Accounts Department to ensure prompt payments of claims.
*Conducting business meetings with clients and reinsurers.
*Developing and managing relationships with market representatives.
*Monitoring existing book of business to identify threats or weaknesses early.
