Full job descriptionElevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a successful Construction Group in Sheffield as they look to recruit a Group Accountant into the team. This role reports to the Senior Group Accountant and works closely with the Group Financial Controller. This key role will be responsible for accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting for the Group.

It will be a varied role with duties to include: -
*Monthly consolidation and preparation of Group results
*Half year results consolidation and interim accounts reporting
*Year end results consolidation and statutory financial statements including PLC consolidated accounts and 7 trading subsidiaries (all IFRS)
*Consolidating the annual budget and preparing budget reporting packs
*Providing accounting support to the operating divisions
*Liaising with external auditors during the annual audit process
*Supporting the timely completion of tax returns and payments
*Reporting the cash position of the Group through accurate daily tracking and forecasting
*Ad hoc projects / analysis as required
