This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.
Whether you have experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, Care Worker, or Youth Worker, we would love to hear from you.
Your new role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
*Support students with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and complex needs
*Provide 1:1 and small group support
*Assist students with classroom activities and communication
*Promote independence, confidence and social development
*Support positive behaviour strategies
*Work closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff
What you’ll need to succeed
*Experience working with children, young people, or adults with additional needs
*A caring, patient and resilient approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A genuine passion for supporting individuals with SEND
*Previous experience in education, care or support work is desirable
