Join our client, the fastest growing privately owned drinks company in Britain, recognized as 24th in the Sunday Times PWC Profit Track 100. We are currently seeking a Class Two Driver to transport our extensive portfolio of beers, wines, spirits, and minerals. This role reports directly to the Distribution Manager and plays a key part in maintaining our commitment to delivering the best customer service in the industry.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Drive lorries up to 18 tonnes to deliver stock to our customers.
*Handle loading and unloading of stock at customer sites.
*Build and maintain excellent working relationships with customers and other staff at the depot.
*Utilize your skills to provide outstanding service to our customers.
*Work an average of 45 hours per week over 5 days, including Saturdays on a 1 in 3 weekly roster basis. Start times vary between 06:30 and 07:30.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*A valid Class 2 Driver’s Licence.
*A valid CPC Driver’s Card.
*Up-to-date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.
*Knowledge of Devon, Somerset, and West Dorset is an advantage.
*Physically fit and able to carry heavy loads.
*Great team working ethic.
*Ability to work on own initiative.
*Excellent customer service skills.
*Confident communicator with all levels of management and staff within the company.
