An established, family-run construction business with over 40 years’ experience is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join its East London team.
The company delivers a varied portfolio of refurbishment, heritage and internal/external construction projects, typically valued at up to £1.5m per project.
Reporting directly to the Directors, the Contracts Manager will work closely with the Quantity Surveyor and oversee Site Managers across 3–4 live projects at any one time.
The Role:
*Manage refurbishment and heritage projects from start to completion
*Oversee Site Managers and wider project teams
*Develop, manage and monitor project programmes
*Asta programming experience is advantageous
*Take responsibility for Health & Safety and compliance
*Manage project documentation, reporting and paperwork
*Monitor programme, quality, progress and project risks
*Work closely with the QS and Directors
*Maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships
*Carry out regular site visits to monitor delivery
