A friendly and welcoming primary school in Bolton is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their team on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands-on professional to take responsibility for maintaining a safe, secure, and well-presented school environment. The successful candidate will oversee site operations, supervise cleaning staff, manage maintenance requirements, and support the day-to-day running of the school premises.
Key Responsibilities
*Open, close, and secure the school site.
*Supervise and organise the work of cleaning staff.
*Identify, prioritise, and coordinate maintenance and repair works.
*Carry out basic repairs and first-line maintenance tasks.
*Monitor contractors and oversee site-related projects.
*Ensure the school remains clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety requirements.
*Manage heating systems, site checks, and routine inspections.
*Act as the key holder and respond to site emergencies when required.
*Support the preparation of school facilities for events and lettings.
About You
*Previous experience in a Site Supervisor, Caretaker, Facilities, or Premises Management role.
*Good practical maintenance and DIY skills.
*Experience supervising staff is desirable.
*Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures.
*Reliable, organised, and able to work independently.
*Full driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
