We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable A Level Chemistry Teacher to join a thriving Science department on a maternity cover basis. You will teach motivated post-16 students across a broad and engaging curriculum covering organic, inorganic and physical chemistry, while developing their practical and analytical skills through laboratory-based learning.
Key Areas of Teaching*Practical skills and scientific investigation
*Foundations of Chemistry
*Periodic Table and Energy
*Core Organic Chemistry
*Physical Chemistry and Transition Elements
*Organic Chemistry and Analysis, including chromatography and NMR spectroscopy
About You*Degree in Chemistry or a related subject
*Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, QTS or equivalent)
*Experience teaching Chemistry at Level 3/A Level
*Passion for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
*Strong practical laboratory and health & safety knowledge
