The role
An established Higher Education organisation in Oxford are looking for a Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This person will be responsible for the administration and smooth running of the student sales ledger function.

Responsibilities
*Checking and posting all student charges
*Being responsible for student tuition fees, accommodation costs, and associated charges
*Dealing with day-to-day queries from students
*Respond quickly to emails and support students
*Maintain accurate records using accounting software
*Prepare monthly reconciliation of control accounts
*Termly reconciliation of tuition fees
*Assisting on ongoing development of internal documentation, records, and systems
*Assisting with preparations for audit
*Cover for payroll and purchase ledger responsibilities, should the need arise
The ideal candidate
*Previous accounting experience and financial administration
*AAT qualified or equivalent
*Strong numerical and analytical skills
*Strong organisation and time-management skills
*Good level of IT skills including Microsoft Excel
*A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
