Recruitment Advisor / Talent Acquisition PartnerSalary: c£55,000 + benefits
Surrey/Hants Hybrid
Are you a recruiter who wants to do more than simply fill roles?
We’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Advisor to become a trusted talent partner within a highly complex, technology-led organisation. This is an opportunity to influence hiring strategy, workforce planning and talent decisions across a critical business area while working closely with senior stakeholders. The role combines permanent recruitment, contingent workforce management, onboarding oversight and stakeholder partnership.
This is not a traditional delivery-focused recruitment role. You’ll sit between the business and recruitment providers, challenging thinking, interpreting data, influencing decisions and ensuring hiring activity is aligned to the wider workforce strategy.
The RoleWorking as part of a high-performing Talent Acquisition and Onboarding team, you’ll:
*Partner with business leaders to understand current and future hiring needs.
*Manage recruitment activity across both permanent and contingent hiring with the RPO partner.
*Drive effective workforce planning conversations with hiring managers.
*Hold recruitment partners accountable for delivery, quality and candidate experience.
*Interpret recruitment data and dashboards to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
*Coordinate contractor and contingent workforce processes, including IR35 considerations.
*Maintain oversight of onboarding activity through the first 30 days of employment.
*Build strong relationships across HR, RPO partners, procurement, hiring managers and external suppliers.
What We’re Looking ForWe’re keen to speak with recruiters who have evolved beyond pure recruitment delivery and enjoy operating as a genuine business partner.
You’ll ideally bring:
*Recruitment, talent acquisition or talent partner experience within a complex organisation.
*Experience managing both permanent and contingent hiring programmes directly and via RPO.
*A strong understanding of contractor recruitment and IR35 processes.
*The confidence to challenge stakeholders and influence decision-making.
*Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret recruitment data and dashboards.
*Experience within technology, cyber, software, engineering, defence or other regulated environments would be advantageous.
Why Apply? This is a visible and business-critical role where you’ll have the opportunity to influence hiring outcomes rather than simply administer recruitment processes.
You’ll join a collaborative team environment that is undergoing positive change and building a more strategic approach to talent acquisition. If you’re looking for a role where you can combine recruitment expertise, workforce planning, stakeholder engagement and talent strategy, we’d love to hear from you.
