I am partnering with a highly regarded strategic advisory firm, who are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to lead their people function. Reporting directly to the COO, this is a standalone role with responsibility for the full employee lifecycle, covering HR operations, employee relations, learning and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, and recruitment. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working autonomously, building strong relationships across a business, and driving best practice people initiatives.

What you’ll do:*Lead and manage the day-to-day HR function across the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding.
*Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on performance management, employee relations matters and HR best practice.
*Oversee HR operations, including HR systems, employee records, leave management and HR documentation.
*Drive employee engagement, wellbeing and DE&I initiatives, helping to foster a positive and inclusive culture.
*Identify learning and development needs and coordinate training programmes to support individual and business growth.
*Own the performance management process, including reviews, promotions and talent development initiatives.
*Manage payroll, employee benefits and support compensation review and benchmarking activities.
*Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR policies while supporting recruitment activity across the business.
Who you are:*Proven experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist position with broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle.
*Comfortable operating in a standalone role and taking ownership of a people function.
*Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
*Experience managing performance, learning and development, engagement and organisational initiatives.
*Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
*A confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
*Discreet, proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
*Experience within consulting, professional services or a similar knowledge-led environment would be advantageous.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and growing business where you’ll have the chance to make a real impact on the employee experience and development of the organisation. If you’re looking for a broad, autonomous HR role with significant visibility and influence, we’d love to hear from you.
